Description
The Ski:
The K2 Mindbender 99 TI W Skis are your ideal companion for those ever-changing days on the slopes with your friends. Featuring a versatile mid-waist width, these skis perform exceptionally well in a variety of conditions, whether you're tackling slopes in the east or west. Strategically placed titanal reinforcements provide the strength and control needed on hard-packed snow. Similar to your determination on less-than-ideal weather days, the lightweight aspen core of these skis is resilient, powerful, and full of energy, allowing you to conquer whatever challenges come your way.
Features:
- Rocker Type: The All-Terrain Rocker offers a gradual rise in the tip for versatility in all conditions, with a shorter, lower rise in the tail for enhanced control in variable snow.
- Core: Crafted from lightweight and durable aspen, this core material offers excellent all-around performance.
- Laminates: The Ti Y-Beam design optimizes performance by positioning Titanal directly over the edges in the forebody of the ski, ensuring powerful and consistent turn entry, especially in variable and off-piste conditions. Underfoot, the Titanal spans the entire width of the ski, maximizing power transfer and control. Towards the tail, the Titanal tapers, allowing the ski to release smoothly at the end of a turn while maintaining support.
- Sidewalls: Power transfer to the ski's edges is greatly enhanced by oversized ABS sidewalls that are laminated and integrated within the wood core in the midbody of the ski.
The Bindings:
The Griffon 13 bindings, a lighter alternative to the Jester model, bring the same advanced features to younger and lighter riders. Renowned as a remarkably versatile freeride option, it's crafted for adept to expert skiers. Sporting the Triple Pivot Elite toe and Inter Pivot 3 freeride heel, these components offer both lightweight and rigidity, bolstering edge grip and control. The inclusion of the Anti Ice Rail simplifies the removal of snow and ice from boot soles. The binding's Multinorm capability facilitates adjustment to touring, GripWalk, or alpine boot sole norms. Notably, the Griffon 13 boasts reinforced screws and a centralized swing weight, optimizing performance for spins and twists.
