The Skis
Introducing the Line Skis Chronic 101 Skis, a dynamic addition to the Chronic family that defies categorization, seamlessly blending freestyle, all-mountain, and even big mountain performance. These skis have the remarkable ability to elevate lackluster conditions, infusing every turn with a sense of excitement and joy. While versatile enough to put a smile on your dad's face as he glides down the slopes, the Chronic 101 also caters to those who relish in spinning, buttering, and tricking their way through the mountain. Despite its freestyle nature, this ski maintains the capability to carve clean turns between hits, striking a perfect balance for those seeking a multifaceted skiing experience.
Features:
- Rocker Type:The Line Skis Chronic 101 Skis feature a rocker profile with an 11mm tip rocker, 2mm camber underfoot, and a 10mm tail rocker. This combination provides excellent floatation in soft snow, effortless turn initiation, and stability on various terrain.
- Sidecut:The skis incorporate 5-Cut™ Geometry, blending five different radiuses into the sidecut. This design results in a wide range of turn shapes, offering versatility and an intuitive feel, allowing you to adapt to different skiing styles and conditions.
- Core:The Chronic 101 Skis utilize an Aspen Veneer Core, consisting of Aspen Stringers brought together to create a lightweight, snappy, and engaged feel. This construction enhances the skis' responsiveness, energy, and overall performance.
- Laminates:The inclusion of Bio Resin in the laminates enhances bonding with the core, improving durability and overall ski performance. Additionally, the Thin Tip construction reduces swing weight, resulting in a lighter and more nimble feel, allowing for easier maneuverability.
- Sidewalls:Thick-Cut Sidewalls are employed to provide added edge strength, increasing the skis' durability and edge hold. This construction ensures confident performance and stability while skiing aggressively.
- Base:Featuring a Fatty Base with a sintered 1.7mm thickness, the Chronic 101 Skis offer high-density sintered bases. This design reduces friction against the snow, resulting in increased speed and improved durability, making the skis ready for various conditions and extended use.
