MANTRA

mantra.png

The iconic Mantra was the first ski of its kind to master everything from powder to ice with ease - introducing the next all mountain benchmark, the M5 Mantra. The key innovation on the 5th generation Mantra is a new way of arranging the metal layers called Titanal Frame: the metal sections follow the ski shape in the tip and tail, with an added carbon inlay in the tip. This intricate construction is lighter in weight, with the same damping properties as a full sheet of metal. Its new shape is 134-96-117mm, with a tightened radius of 19.8m in size 177. Tip and Tail Rocker design with camber underfoot, and Full Sidewall construction round out the setup. Yet another new performance standard for all mountain freeride skis.

 SECRET

The new Secret features the same Titanal Frame Construction found in the new M5 Mantra, but in a narrower 130-92-113mm shape that is designed to deliver just the right blend of float in softer snow with tenacious edge grip on harder snow. With Tip and Tail Rocker and camber underfoot, our Full Sidewall construction, and a carbon inlay in the tip, the new Secret delivers an unparalleled level of all mountain performance no matter what snow conditions the mountain hands out.

Its carefully crafted design elements allow it to feel playful in soft snow, while maintaining the edge grip, stability, and frontside performance that have made it so popular.

The Volkl Kama makes a great ski for the intermediate to advanced skier who wants a versatile ride on the frontside of the mountain that can handle some light off trail skiing when conditions are right for you. Volkl's Multi-Layer Woodcore is packed with energy and stability to keep you turning and burning as you carve some medium radius turns. Rocker in the tip engages the Kama into turns with little effort, while camber underfoot delivers rebound and energy into your next turn. Full Length Sidewalls increase the torsional strength of the ski and grip firm conditions with ease. An 83mm waist is very nimble and edgy, and fully capable of rolling over crud.
